Samsung Looking to Change Perception with the Galaxy S8

Samsung is really working on changing the perception of consumers after the failed attempt of what was the Galaxy S7. All eyes are on deck with what looks to be the unveiling of the Galaxy S8 which is set to be one of the biggest technology showings of 2017. With much already revealed on the upcoming flagship which will debut with a standard and a plus sized version.



The Samsung Galaxy S8 is already proving to be one of the biggest competitors to Apple's newest launch later this year. Sammy has publicly stated they are working hard on getting consumers to come back to the dark side as huge expectations have already been set for the mid-April launch. Leaks have suggested there will be two flagship launches which will include the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus.

The full specs of the phones have yet to be made public, but really good information suggests the home screen below the display has been replaced with an on-screen home button. Other improvements include a 5.8" and 6.2" model with both boasting Super Amoled displays, Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB native storage, 3000mAh battery, and Android 7.1 preinstalled. The cameras wont see much of a difference with 12-megapixels on the rear and 8-megapixels up-front.

A huge launch even is scheduled for March 28th in New York at Lincoln Center starting at 11 a.m. ET.
